Driskill, born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, currently serves in the role of Executive VP/GM of Sea Gayle Music. With a catalog of 45 number 1 songs and two ASCAP Country Publisher of the Year Awards, Sea Gayle is one of Nashville’s most successful independent music publishers. He began his career in the music industry at ASCAP where, in his role as Director of Business Affairs, he learned the intricacies of songwriter and publisher revenue streams, and later in his career was promoted to VP/GM of the Nashville office to lead the Membership team. Marc’s entire career in music has been centered on working with songwriters and music publishers, on both the business and creative aspects of their career. With a true love of music and a dedication to creators’ rights, he is currently a member of the National Music Publisher’s Association’s Independent Publishers Advisory Committee. He also served on the steering committee for the Nashville Chapter of the Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP) and was elected as Executive Director of the Chapter for two consecutive terms. Outside of the music industry, he serves on the Executive Committee of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light The Night Walk and on the event committee for Hope Grows Here, an event to help support the function and mission of the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Pediatric ICU. Marc earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.
