JD Groover is a seasoned professional in the country music industry, currently serving as the Senior Creative Director of A&R at Sea Gayle Music and Vice President at 1221 Management. A native of Kingsland, Georgia, Groover began his music career by managing The Gin, a music venue in Tifton, Georgia. In 2014, he transitioned to tour management for artist Jon Langston.   By 2018, Groover joined Sea Gayle Music as Creative Director.  During his time at Sea Gayle, he played a vital part on getting songs placed on many major label projects.  In 2022, he completed his degree in Intercultural Organizational Communication from Valdosta State University, fulfilling a personal goal of finishing his education as an adult.   Throughout his career, Groover has been instrumental in artist development and A&R, contributing significantly to the growth of Sea Gayle Music and their roster.
